I'm new to this Blog thing. Most likely will get better over time because I have no idea what I am doing. I'll be posting stuff about raves, parties, mixes, and songs I've made. Leave comments if you like.

Two stepin....
So today as I was mixing, some of my friends were trying to tell me that I should focus on making Dub step because "it is the best electronic music ever" and that what I was listening to was crap. I honestly don't see the value in Dub step... What is so good about it? All it is is two beats repeated. In my opinion it is not even music. If you like dub step comment why I should enjoy two beats repeated awkwardly. In the mean time have some real music.

Oooh nice track!
ReplyDeleteDubstep is way overrated. I like the video, especially the beginning. I'm definitely following and coming back for more.
ReplyDeleteThis aint noise mate, this is Showtek, my favorite fucking music!
ReplyDeleteloved the link picture soo many bad memories.
ReplyDeleteHardstyle is nice. Not great, but nice.
ReplyDeleteyeeeeeeeea i probably wouldn't listen to your friends. it's important that you make music for YOURSELF FIRST. how can they tell you that the music you're listening to is crap. just sounds close minded and looking for a fight. as for dubstep... i personally was drawn to it because producers like half a decade ago were coming up with great granular sounding to underwater synth textures with a really bass heavy atmospheric style in the same vein as oldschool dub. producers have been really exploiting those buzz wobbles and heavy snares lately so i can see how you feel pretty meh about it. i just say explore yourself and try to dig deeper into things because there's almost always much more beneath the surface.
ReplyDeletenot my style
ReplyDeleteAgree with the guys: nice
ReplyDeleteBaxxmans
Wow, bold. But I agree, I don't understand what people see in Dub step. I love the picture too btw!
ReplyDeletenice post, keep share.
ReplyDeletesorry for being off topic... but when i hear someone saying "Hey!" or "Listen", I remind my days on water temple... locked in there with a really annoying fairy haha. but nice track XD
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the video of Rusko apologizing for creating "brostep"? I'm all for dubstep, but it's more of the melodic drum-oriented kind, not the heavy drop stuff everyone likes now.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big dubstep man, but I love dabbling in it once in a while!
ReplyDeleteI love dubstep, it's really headed in the right direction at the moment.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lot slower than the song you posted, but at the same time the bass blows you away.
